- To better my understanding of the internet and the code that makes it up
- To prove to myself that I can code and work with technology. I am historically quite bad with it.
- And finally to round off my degree with a unique skill

This site shall be a portfolio of all of my work, both creative and academic.
Reasons for Taking this Class
My goal for this website is to create something that is both fun and functional. I want my creativity and artistic pursuits to shine through as part of my portfolio as much as my academic work. I am interested in the indie web movement, which focuses on personal websites made for the creator’s enjoyment and to show their personality- more so than being a corporate copy and paste
As such I think that learning coding will be of great help to make my website less cookie-cutter and more unique and like myself. I think that there will be a learning curve to all of this, but hopefully it’ll also be fun and interesting!
